‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Spoilers, News & Updates: Abraham Killed Not Glenn? Filming Officially Begins

“The Walking Dead” Season 7 will provide answers to that maddening cliffhanger from the Season 6 finale, which left many fans wondering who got killed by Negan’s bat beating. While several spoilers point out to Glenn dying in the upcoming season of the AMC series, a recent report claims that it is Abraham that gets killed.
This article contains spoilers. Read on if you want to learn more about this story.
“The Walking Dead” Season 7 spoilers are hinting on the possibility that Abraham is the one that got killed by Negan during the Season 6 finale and not Glenn. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, an insider from the set of the AMC series told the National Enquirer that killing Abraham would send a message to Rick and the rest of the group.
“Abraham is the biggest guy in the group. Negan taking him out sends a huge message to Rick and everyone else,” said the source.
The publication notes that Abraham should have been killed from Dwight’s crossbow (based on the comics), but Dr. Denise Cloyd died in his place in “The Walking Dead” series. Abraham also seemingly bid farewell to Eugene Porter and he has already hinted on settling down with Sasha Williams.
Some fans, however, may claim that Glenn is the one who will die in “The Walking Dead” Season 7 based on the comic book version. However, showrunner Scott Gimple already shared in an earlier interview that the show will be taking a “hard left” from the comics.
While it remains to be seen which character would suffer from a tragic fate on “TWD” Season 7, Melty reports that the show has already begun filming for the upcoming season. Special effects creator Greg Nicotero shared several on set photos of the show on his Instagram page.
The publication notes that it appears that “The Walking Dead” Season 7 will begin the morning after Negan’s attack. Andrew Lincoln has also been reportedly spotted back on set in his costume.

CARTERMATT.COM – Yes, we understand that the majority of the buzz surrounding “The Walking Dead” at the moment has to do with Glenn, and whether or not he is going to be alive moving forward this season. Judging from the way that the show handled his “death” on this past episode (including the lack of postmortem interviews and Steven Yeun not appearing on “Talking Dead”), we’re starting to think more and more like he will survive.
We don’t want to ignore in this article, though, something that has become overshadowed in the hubbub surrounding Glenn: Whether or not Rick is about to get infected after getting some zombie insides on an open wound. Speaking to TVLine, showrunner Scott M. Gimple offered up a little bit of reassurance. While he did not say if it was possible for someone to be infected in this manner, he made it clear that this will not write Andrew Lincoln out of the show:
“I’m going to go out on a limb here and say something definitive: Rick is OK regarding that cut. His hand will survive. There will be a bandage. There will be some ointment involved. But he’s going to walk away from it.”
Now that you know that, you have our permission to go back and continue to worry about Glenn. While it’s possible he is dead, our feeling at this point is more that it will be interesting to see how the writers go about this story if he’s still alive. How do you write your way out of that?

CARTERMATT.COM – The season 6 premiere of “The Walking Dead” is coming up on Sunday, October 11, and AMC is starting to get a little more open about some of what you can expect to see on the series. Take, for example, the first official synopsis for the premiere:
“Rick and the group are still having trouble assimilating into Alexandria. Will a new threat bring them closer together or drive them further apart?”
By the time we make it to the end of the show’s first episode, we’re probably going to get a little bit of a better idea of just what this “new threat” is, and hopefully in more specific terms than what we know right now. The only thing that has been confirmed at the moment is that the Wolves are going to more than likely be one of the key forces to be reckoned with over the course of the next several weeks; they are ruthless, and while Alexandria may not always be pleased to have Andrew Lincoln’s character and the rest of the gang around, they’re probably going to need them at some point soon.
While Alexandria may consider themselves to be a community based in some ways on peace, the reality here is more that they are a community based on luck. There are not that many reasons why they are still around and together other than the sole fact that they have not had anyone too imposing pay a visit just yet.
